It can be said that this translation is one of the most precious translations of Jin Yong’s wuxia. Around 17 years needed to finish this translation (50 chapters), where many translators came in and out – that’s why you’ll see various styles of translation – partly because it’s quite tough to translate this book.

Chapter 1-30 were translated using the 2nd edition, then Chapter 31-43 using the 3rd edition, and Chapter 44-50 back using the 2nd edition.
